Press Announcement Standards & Obligations

All organisations making announcements at or in connection with Pakistan Finance Week are bound by the following standards. PFW reserves the right to decline, postpone, or withdraw approval for any announcement that does not meet these requirements.

Truthfulness: All announcements must be factually accurate, verifiable, and free of misleading, speculative, or unsubstantiated claims. PFW will not knowingly facilitate the publication of false or materially inaccurate information.
No premature disclosure: You agree to honour the embargo date and time agreed at the point of booking. Any breach of embargo — including by counterparties or media partners — must be reported to the PFW Press Office immediately.
Regulatory compliance: Announcements involving listed companies, securities, investment products, or regulated financial instruments must comply with all applicable disclosure regulations. PFW accepts no liability for regulatory breaches arising from announcements made on its platform.
No political statements: Announcements may not be used as a platform for political campaigning, partisan statements, or content that could embarrass the Government of Pakistan or the platform's institutional partners.
Content approval: PFW reserves the right to review any press release, statement, or collateral material associated with an on-site announcement. Material that does not meet PFW's standards may result in the announcement slot being withdrawn without refund of any associated fees.
No negative or competitive messaging: Announcements may not be used to make negative comparisons with, or attacks on, competing organisations, individuals, or platforms.
Right to decline or reschedule: PFW reserves the right to decline, postpone, or reschedule any announcement at any time — including on the day of the event — without liability, if circumstances require it.
